About Fiona Roch
Full Stack and AI Engineer with over 9 years of experience building products from the ground up. My recent work centers on LLM tool calling and AI agents in production.
Founding engineer at two startups and solo founder of my own app, I own products end to end, from first idea to launch. I am relentlessly product-minded: I ask why before building, ship the smallest MVP first, and weigh ROI against dev cost and time.
I learn new stacks fast and hold myself to an exacting standard for code quality. I obsess over the edge cases most engineers skip, and I take real pride in shipping robust code that stays stable in production.
How I work.
The right approach depends on the project, but my defaults don't change: robust, stable systems and the simplest design that does the job (KISS). I write code that anyone on the team can read, and I stay language-agnostic, choosing the right tool instead of a favorite one. I build the processes that keep quality high and remote teams fast across any time zone.
