AI menu translator for travelers: snap a menu in any script, and every dish is translated right on the photo, without hiding the original.

• Translates every dish in place on the photo with the original text left visible, explains it (what it is, how to eat it, allergens), and turns the selection into an order to show the waiter.
• Built it solo end to end: one Expo / React Native app for iOS, Android and the web, on a serverless backend on Cloudflare Workers (Hono, D1, KV).
• Streams AI results from Gemini as they arrive, backed by a dish knowledge base that cuts AI costs.
• Wrote a text-line detection service in Python (CRAFT) and a custom layout engine that places each translation on its own line of the menu.
• Launching on the App Store and Google Play, with payments, ads and privacy-first analytics built in.

AI hairstyle preview: analyse a portrait, then generate the haircut on the real face.

• Built a Claude vision pipeline that reads a portrait and returns structured analysis — colour season out of twelve, a twelve-colour palette, and colours to avoid — with prompt guards for the failure modes that break naive vision prompts, like scoring a scarf as hair colour.
• Shipped photorealistic haircut generation on the OpenAI image Responses API, selected over Flux Kontext because it is the only provider that renders real length cuts rather than restyling in place.
• Runs on a durable pg-boss queue with content moderation, Stripe credit billing, and per-call cost tracking: ~$0.21 an image, ~€0.03 a Claude analysis, against a €3.99 report.
• Solo across the whole stack: NestJS API, Next.js App Router front end, Drizzle schema and migrations, i18n, SEO, and the GCP deploy.

Secure all-in-one AI platform for consulting, strategy and investment teams, with EU-hosted models and no training on client data.

• Built a PPTX deck generation and editing system driven by Claude tool calling, with custom tools and automated screenshot validation, across thousands of uploaded and generated decks.
• Designed its ingestion pipeline: Redis-backed BullMQ queues split each deck, extract content, tag templates with LLM metadata and screenshots, then remerge slides as XML on generation.
• Migrated a 350 GB Elasticsearch cluster of 4M+ documents between AWS instances and redesigned its index strategy, cutting 40,000 shards to 700.
• Ran production database migrations of 5M+ rows, consolidating several parallel message sources into a unified schema.

• Implemented and maintained logistics and equipment features, covered by unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Was the engineer in charge of integrations, working directly with 30+ enterprise clients and external contractors.
• Shipped 10+ enterprise integrations in Kotlin against public APIs (Okta, NetSuite, Workday, Workato, Merge.dev HRIS, Segment/Mixpanel), including a custom ServiceNow sync for customer assets.
